Varone: Johannisberg

Johannisberg is one of Valais’ signature white wines — a refined and quietly expressive varietal known elsewhere as Sylvaner. In the sun-drenched vineyards along the Rhône, this noble grape flourishes in gravelly, mineral-rich soils, developing a graceful balance of freshness and depth. Bouquet: Gentle yet complex aromas of ripe pear, white peach, chamomile, and almond blossom, with a whisper of beeswax and mountain herbs.

Palate: Silky and rounded on the palate, with layers of baked apple, honeyed spice, and toasted almond. A graceful acidity lends lift and structure, finishing with subtle minerality and a touch of saline elegance.
